first off, i'm seriously sorry for the lack of updates. i changed my name, so i've updated my pages to have new usernames and stuff!
also, yes the music collection is doing good :)
what i want to talk about today is rave dj!
if you don't know what rave dj is, it's ai powered mashups, they change the volume and speed and stuff so it sounds like a mashup
eveything is hit or miss if you want it to sound good though.
either it sounds like monkey garbage or it's actually a banger. sometimes in betweem.
why is that important? well, i'm making a mashup in it! :D

not implying the site is horrible of course, i've seen talented shit on spacehey, like look at the layouts!
nah, the irony here is i've put this off so fucking long and magically i'm now coming back
well maybe i'll finally not be lonely for more than 2 hours at a time, or something.
cause it was always fun having something dumb to do. like spice up the profile again.

canada day, artfight: day 1, summer break & other shenanigans
let's start this new blog off right: new improvements! first off, i made some small changes, like seperators.
i was originally going to also have a background, but it made links harder to read, so i got rid of it.
hopefully it spices things up without making shit COMPLETELY unreadable.
i hope nathan lineback doesn't mind i inspect elemented his html and copy pasted some shit he wrote for it. i'm sure he won't be too mad.
i compensated by adding a button to the front page and making it direct to his page.
i also had a lot of time and some boredom on my hands, so i've also added a few of my old blog posts, although edited to match this blog's style.
not all, because some were old and would make no sense without context on this page.
or because they could identify me.
because i don't like my old usernames.

the return to crappy html: my neocities site
if the title if very offcenter, i'm sorry. i had to basically fix it with some very shitty improvision.
so yeah... welcome to my shitty site. i had to basically wrap this thing together into duct tape because i managed to format it like dogpoop.
here is where you'll usually hear rants from me, dumb shit like my life. and my various silly adventures.
like today. and uhhhhhh.....
i moved from mp3s and flacs to spotify/mp3s split.
again.
and re-liking songs is a pain in the ass.
and things are going realllllyyyyy slow.
trust me, this is more painful than i'm describing it.
like sometimes it'll open the playlist i'm putting these songs in after i add them,
and i have to go back and scroll ALLL the way down on a discography i'm looking at....
ughhhhh fuck spotify.
and it only scrolls in small steps, not at once like it was when i STARTED.
fucks sake.
guess i'll have to search all the singles one by one.
yeah, i think you get the idea of what kind of things i'll be talking about. and how much of it....
hopefully this is fun!!!! and that i don't get sick of it after a few days.

if you were a lucky fuck to have a computer, even for more than 5 minutes, you probably know what a browser game.
or at LEAST heard of one, hopefully. (because i didn't plan for people living under rocks)
whever you played an actual flash game, something in html5, or even something in shockwave or activex, maybe something else?
(don't worry about knowing the difference by the way, i don't care)
if you've used a computer in at least the past 5-10 years, you probably played one at some point.
some examples of flash games that you may of heard of?
first off, COOL MATH GAMES. cool math games was nothing but browser games. and it was all you had as a kid.
some examples i know of is andkon arcade (remember that?), silver games, and armour games.
i feel old talking about this already, lol.
it was just a fun time then.
it was fun to get online, play the dumbest shit you could find, and goof off.
you would used to find the dumbest shit to play, somehow faintly remember it today, and not know how to fucking find it.
that's happened to me many times.
man, i feel like i'm rambling to myself now, flash games were a fun time.
you had the great shit, the horrible shit, and the weird shit.
doesn't matter if you were at school, or at home.
hell, you could be at your fucking grandma's house, and you'd goof off waiting for an event or something.
now it just feels like a novelty. like a cool toy you never use, but collect for fun.
or because it'll be valuable in the future.
or a one way ticket to some nostalgia.... and that's it.
obviously, anything outdated or retro will do that to you.
i mean, why else do we have spacehey instead of myspace, and people making old websites in neocities?
spacehey is a recreation though. neocities is just a website builder for anything. flash is actually dead.
it's weird, and uncanny. like using msn messenger in modern day.
yes, that's a thing. thank the escargot project. and it's cool as fuck.
sometimes though, it just feels like people have moved on from flash, as if the games made in it don't exist anymore.
obviously not saying all flash games are gone forever.
for fucks sake, we have the henry stickmin collection which was made in flash.
you just don't need to download flash because it's already... all there. you know?
and sometimes it's resurrected into other software. for example, mutiliate a doll 2. that's in adobe air now.
or if that fails too, people will just make it in another engine. that's why we have people playground, i think.
and we'll always have flash games from back in the day, fancy pants adventure is still a thing on steam, and probably kicking.
what i'm trying to say is we've moved on easily.
our memories of playing flash is dead. a missing memory.
not saying we need to return it. for fucks sake, we have newer technologies.
i'm saying we should hold onto those memories. recreate the, in the updated software we have today.
or at the very least look back and remember how those goofy little games made us happy.
and made us feel like we were having fun. we're growing up and moving on, sure, but doesn't it feel unfair or kind of itching to not want to return? even if it's just for 5 minutes?
shouldn't we be thinking back, even just for one single second?

i tend to do that, because i like reading dumb shit i can find.
in yonder fashion, i found a rant about winamp.
this immediately caught my interest, because i used winamp a while back.
so i read into it.
apparently they got into crypto and shit. it looked quite ugly,
and of course, i was not heavy on crypto, and somewhat against how pushed it was at the time, so i was quick to give up on winamp.
well that was another program gone off my computer.
i was trying to uninstall my build of winamp 5.9 while reading, unable to believe the shit i was reading.
shit like the worse performance. while i was saying shit to myself like "why couldn't i have installed 5.666?.
but then i noticed.
near the end of the blog entry, i noticed something. a recommendation. a recommendation for wacup, a replacement of winamp.
and it was based on 5.666! jackpot!
not only that, though. like more content? expands upon winamp?
i was like "hell yeah sign me up", and installed it, because I needed to replace winamp ASAP.
well first off... the installation process? fun as fuck.
looking at all the features i could install and not install was like entering a candy store. it was crazy.
i was trying to process everything, read what shit did, etc...
it was amazing. it felt bigger than any other music player i had used before.
and somehow this was all crammed up in a winamp installer? props to the wacup guy for doing that! that's hard to accomplish!
i have it installed right now.
i couldn't tell if there was a new setup process or i was losing my mind, but it was amazing!
i had fun picking my theme, what to make it do by default, etc...
by the time it was all set-up, i was having a blast.
i played with the built-in discord rich presence for about 10 minutes.
fuuuck, it was like everything i ever wanted was there.
though i did have to manually install a last.fm scrobbler myself, it wasn't hard at all, and just like ordinary winamp.
i'm playing with a lot of it right now. i could mess with this thing for hours. it does everything i need.
it does everything i needed from foobar and even the previous winamp version i had installed:
play music.
show it off on discord.
scrobble to last.fm.
and it came with free shit to play with! sweet!!!

stick aim makes me feel like a fucking caveman.
you ever just miss shots for no reason trying to find that enemy?
you move too fast or too slow to catch up?
it suuuucks.
yet i still prefer how moving and crouching works on a controller.
because on keyboard and mouse it's kinda lame to me.

i get the limitations, especially with hardware,
